Suture Materials

It was widely used in medical devices, based on its chemical inert property, it has the utmost biological compatibility, especially for the implant device, for example, hernia mesh and surgical sutures. And even the face masks that protect us from the Covid 19 pandemic, since polypropylene is the key material to produce melt-blown fabric, the electrostatic force of the melt-blown fabric can hold the virus to protect us during breathe.

Polypropylene is very smooth in the surface, as sutures mainly used in dermatology surgery, plastic surgery. Due the stability and inert, also widely used on the cardiac and vascular surgery. Accelerating aging test show the polypropylene still keep the tensile strength after simulate the heart beat with a sutures applied in vascular.

It also was cut to barb for the knotless sutures as well as the aesthetic sutures.

In Middle East market, polypropylene sutures covers almost 30% market usage in quantity especially for the skin closure and soft tissue suturing.

The medical grade compound we are using is special ordered to meeting the requirement of surgical sutures, strong, soft and smooth. After a precisely manufacturing, the diameter size keep consistent.

Due the chemical property, the polypropylene sutures is not suitable for the Radiation Sterilization, only suitable sterilized by Ethylene Oxide Gas.

Currently we are only supply the sizes for general surgery sutures from USP 2 to 6/0, the smaller size suture for cardiovascular in in developing.
